Hi there! My name is Lauren. I'm a wife to my sweetheart, Kevin and mama to my two sweet little girls, Violet and Lucy. We live in the beautiful rolling hills of Central Pennsylvania in our tiny but cozy home on a street lined with tall leafy trees, a short stroll from our favorite park. It's taken a lot of blood and sweat, laughter and love to turn it into a place that we are proud to call our own, but we love living here with our little family.
A Lovely Lark was created out of my love of children's design and decor. I fell in love with all things little while designing Violet's nursery back in 2010, which has been featured on Design Sponge, Making it Lovely, and Apartment Therapy among many others. I also love to write about my random DIY projects, the slooow but steady process of decorating and updating our cozy little home, my favorite handmade finds (I can get lost for hours on Etsy!), and of course my family/adventures in motherhood and parenting.
If you're new to A Lovely Lark, here are eleven (because I couldn't pick ten!) of my favorite posts to get you started:
- Spring Fling
- Violet's Nursery
- DIY No-Sew Banner
- Nursery Finds to Energize and Inspire
