Friday Favorites
Here are a few of my favorite things from around the interwebs this week:
What a happy, sunny space. I would never leave this window seat:
Too, too fabulous tutus for your little ballerina. Found via Hip Hip Hooray!
Awesome camp birthday party over on Spearmint Baby.
A pretty perfect place to eat discovered at Aesthetic Outburst.
Such a pretty wedding invitation. Maybe I could create some illustrated thank you cards for Violet's first birthday?
Love this 'leave us a note' idea for a wedding or even a birthday party?
Fabulous fringy monogram over on Oh Happy Day.
Hilarious and adorable dog party. Part 1; Part 2; Part 3
Pink rug + yellow pillows = perfect in my book. Discovered via Caitlin Wilson Design.

I Wish...
I wish I could convert our garage into this:
Our garage has a really similar look, but is unfortunately full of lawn mowers, rakes, shovels, pots, tools, and the like. Maybe my next house? Sigh...

A Spring Romp
It was so warm out yesterday that we picked up takeout and spent the evening in the back yard. Violet had a great time crawling around in her little blue romper checking out flowers and leaves. Her favorite discovery was an acorn that she clutched tightly with her chubby little hands like it was a precious treasure. It was such a perfect evening...I can't wait for more lazy summer days with my little family.
P.S. Violet's romper is from the littlest - they sell the sweetest vintage clothing!
Circle of Moms
Just found out I was nominated for Circle of Moms Top 25 Baby Journals (thanks to whoever nominated me!) If you've been reading for a while you know my track record with contests, so I'm just going to post this badge and not mention anything about frequency of voting, rules, and the like ;)
Thanks!
Easter 2011
Did you all have a wonderful weekend? I hope yours was as good as ours! Beautiful weather, family, and food - what more can you ask for!? Here are a ridiculous number of few photos from our day:
Violet woke up, took a bath, got dressed up, and played with the cats for a bit:
We spent the morning with my parents at church and then went back to their house:
Violet took a mid-day siesta to recharge for part two of our Easter extravaganza:
The second half of the day we traveled to see Kevin's family and spent the rest of the day egg hunting, playing, and eating with Violet's gazillion cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
Violet had a seriously amazing day - every person, every leaf, every toy was thrilling to her and she lived it up until it was time to go home. There's really nothing more amazing than seeing the world through the eyes of your child. Hope yours was just as wonderful as ours!
