ReplyDeleteAs a mom of 7, I highly recommend getting a water-hog-style mat for in front of the door. Yes, something else might be more stylish, but you will save yourself tears with a good, dirt-repelling mat that's a bit oversized (at least 5x7 or whatever fits in the space). If the kids can drip there, shed sand, and get their boots off, it's that much less work for you in the house!
Actually, some of them are fine looking. You can get them at Home Depot or for more money on LLBean.
I love all the white and the pretty touches in your kitchen! Lots of work, big reward!
