Kate's Living Room

11.16.2010
Recently, I created an idea board for Kate's living room based on a few fabrics she had selected and her love for Paris. I'm so excited that I finally have a little time to create idea boards again...although I'm already backed up on orders. Oh well - we can only do the best we can with what we've got right? And time isn't a thing I have much of these days.

Kate also wasn't sure where to place her furniture in her large open-concept space, so I created a room layout for her as well:

I suppose I could have gotten fancy and created it on the computer, but there's something about shifting pieces of paper around that is much more enjoyable.

Especially when you get to look at (and smell) the pretty centerpiece that I snagged from a friend's wedding last weekend. There's nothing like the smell of fresh roses!

Good luck with your gorgeous space, Kate! I'm sure it will look beautiful when you're finished.
P.S. If you are wondering about Violet's six-month post, I'm really behind on things these days. She's been sick off and on for a few weeks now and we will be going for an ultrasound sometime this week to see if we can figure things out. Please keep her in your thoughts - we're hoping it's nothing serious!
