Holiday Gift Guide 2013: Animal Friends

12.03.2013
I don't know about your, but I still have some of my favorite plush animals from when I was a kid, and I've now passed them down to Violet and Lucy. Knowing that a toy can become that special to a child that it lasts over generations, I prefer to buy quality handmade heirloom-type pieces that are still lovable and cuddly and fun for the girls, even if they may cost a little more. Here are some of my current favorites that fit the bill:

Lambswool Caterpillar ($75) | Crocodile Cushion ($35) | Black Crocodile Rattle ($27) | Plush Dinosaur Toy ($58) | Socks the Fox ($44-$180) | Embroidered Bear Plushie ($48) | Bunny Ballerina Doll ($53.56) | Theodor (35EU) | Seraphine Swan ($42) | Otylie Linen Doll (70EU)

Eleanor the Bear ($98) | Big Fox (65EU) | Lion Caravan Cushion ($35) | Mr. & Mrs. Fox ($39) | Sydney Hedgehog Lambswool Plush ($46) | Super Ted ($49) | Aspen Bunny ($24) | Mr. Lion Heart ($63) | Manomine Fox (90 EU) | Maileg Badger ($35) | Haruna Lambswool Plush

P.S. Don't forget to enter the baby and decor giveaways!  xo, Lauren

    Sara Carr

As a child Sara Carr used to collect soft toys and at one stage had over 200! Sara decided to continue her childhood passion and in 2009 started making her own toys. She designs and knits all her products herself, using the finest lambswool and sells them in her online shop www.saracarr.etsy.com. A child at heart, Sara loves to design pieces that are whimsical and fun and will appeal to all ages.
