Luckily our new curtains and rug for the nursery arrived before the big blizzard hit. I don't think I've seen the mailman for a few days now (and I don't blame him!) Charlie thinks the rug is his. He is literally in love with it. He snuggles it, lays on it, bites at it, plays with it. As cute as it is, we had to nip that in the bud when he started getting territorial. We definitely don't want him to think the rug is his, as it's soon going to belong to another little lady :)
That's all you get to see of that space for now, but stay tuned for more pics to come! For those who are curious, the curtains are from Urban Outfitters ($40 for a pack of two) and the rug is from Overstock (we got the last one for $80 - yay!)
And on to the snow. We are in Pennsylvania and have had record-breaking amounts of snow over the past few days, as has much of the East coast.
And yes, it's still snowing. I think. Or maybe the snow is just blowing around a lot...it's really hard to tell. Thank goodness for snow blowers, a hot crackling fire, husbands who will go to the grocery store right before it snows, four-wheel drive, furnaces, and blankets. And a relatively new roof on both our house and garage. Stay warm, safe, and dry everyone!
WOW, that's a lot of snow. I think I'll stop complaining about our measly few inches! I've heard all about that nasty winter storm on the east coast.
ReplyDeleteLove those pictures of your cat - especially the one of his silhouette in the window. And I wish we had a crackling fire like that! So cozy.
Looking forward to seeing the rest of the nursery.
Stay warm! Hope it thaws out there soon. I'd be going stir-crazy too.
Your snow looks like ours...what a mess!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the rest of your nursery. It looks cute so far!
I listed you as one of my favorite blogs :) Check it out...

Love the additions to the nursery. They are not the norm and I really like that. I too have tons of snow. While it looks pretty I am starting to get stir crazy.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I am getting cabin fever too! Stay safe and warm!
ReplyDeleteYes it is a lot of snow! And we're still not plowed out yet...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comments on the nursery and blog ladies :) I'm having a really fun time with both!
ReplyDeleteYour nursery looks great- I LOVE the color combo!! I am a baby photographer participating in a photo contest looking for cool nurseries. Would you mind passing along the info to your readers? It is a national contest so there are photographers all over who are doing it
