Inspired

3.02.2011
I mentioned earlier in the week that I was totally inspired by Mandy's Mama Style series over on Harper's Happenings. A lot of mommy bloggers that I follow actually do style posts - Miss James over on Bleubird, Melissa at Dear Baby, and of course, Mandy over on The Haps. I've never felt that I was a very stylish person, but it's never too late to start, right?

With my 20's quickly coming to an end, approaching thirty feels a bit like opening a new chapter. A time to start fresh, a time to reinvent myself a little bit - maybe become a bit more stylish? Who knows!? Either way it's fun to get a little dressed up now and again, and I'm sure the Hubster will appreciate my efforts (despite the fact that he may have to take some photos of me while I act like an idiot pose for the camera - I'm no model, that's for sure!) Here goes nothing...

Pink Corduroy Jacket - Old Navy
Long-sleeved Striped T - Target
Gray Skinny Jeans - Gap
Shoes - Bandolino
Patent Leather Belt - Thrifted
Earrings - Gift from a friend

Violet, luckily, is a much better model than I. It's actually difficult to get a bad photo of her - she's just so darn cute!

Striped Dress - Baby Gap
Black Cable Knit Tights - Old Navy
Pink Flower Headband - Zuzii

So there you go - edition one of with two cats style - mama + baby!

  2. Very cute! I like this idea a lot and may steal it for my blog as well. :)

By the way, I'm wearing the exact same Target shirt today! It's one of my favorites - in fact, I bought a ton of them (in different colors, of course).

  8. Lookin' good, mama! Everybody in stripes! It's hard to feel stylish sometimes with a baby, isn't it? Kudos to you for posing for pictures for your blog - you look great!
