Little Traveler

7.19.2011
Although we haven't done much traveling with Violet, I always perk up when I see a product for traveling with a baby. You see, my sister lives in Australia, and I'm hoping that she does a LOT of traveling when she has a baby (namely to come and see me). Here are a few great products I've come across that will hopefully help to make for smooth travels with your little bundle of joy:

1. Travel-Tot Travel Childproofing Kit
2. The First Years On-the-Go Booster Seat
3. Moby Wrap
4. Baby Bjorn Travel Crib Light
5. Mountain Buggy Nest Bed
6. Travel 2-in-1 by Delta Baby

Do you have any favorite products or tips for traveling with a baby? I'd love to hear them!

  2. We traveled from DC to Seattle (and back) when our baby was 6 weeks old and then we flew with her again at three months when we moved to London (!).

Asking for a sky cot was great not only because we could put her down in it (without buying an extra seat) but we were also given bulkhead seats which was great! She will be too big for the sky cot soon, but a friend of mine recommended still asking for one regardless of whether or not she will fit so you can still get the bulkhead!

My second bit of advice is to use a travel neck pillow (mine is by Cloudz) to use instead of a Boppy for feeding. It was really easy to travel with!

  3. We have the Moby and the Bjorn Travel Crib Light and are thrilled with both. We are even brining the bjorn crib in our suitcase to Florida next week!

We also are very happy with our travel highchair - the Phil&Teds MeToo

And if you are interested in this great list from Lauren, check out my post today Gear for Baby: Nursing
