I'm looking for some help with pulling together some finishing details for a nursery. Before I get started I guess I should convey to you the look I'm going for. We don't plan on finding out what we are having. We aren't really big on themes... we would rather achieve a certain style/look, although, we do plan on incorporating dog silhouettes throughout the nursery. I need help with some coordinating fabric for throw pillows, window treatments, Curtains for closet french doors, area rug, fabric for custom made bench cushion for toy box, anf fabric choices for custom made floor poufs.
We don't want the room to be too feminie, or shabby chic. I know you may get that impression considering the amount of white used in the room. We are hoping that by adding some fun fabrics into the mix along with some custom photography our dogs by me (I'm a lifestyle photographer and I plan on hanging/displaying some black and white prints of our dogs) it will be a little eclectic. We also love the idea of incorporating some burlap.
Thanks!
Nicole
Incorporating the 'Keep Calm' poster, knobs, and lighting that Nicole had selected, here is what I came up with for her nursery:

Adorable! I love these fabric choices. They all coordinate so perfectly but don't "match". Love it.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabrics - great job. A perfect room for a boy or girl.
ReplyDeleteReally love this board. What a great neutral nursery color scheme. Takes the ol' green and yellow to a whole new place.
