Help a mama out here: I have our outfits picked out for Violet's one year photos, but realized I have no shoes that go with my dress! We scouted our location today and it's a field covered hill with a gravel trail, so I'm thinking flats? I've found a few options but I'm not sure which to pick and we're taking the photos in a week - eek! Please help:
Option 1 is pretty classic, option 2 looks pretty comfy, and option 3 is just pretty. Which would you choose? (All items above are on my style boards on Pinterest if you'd like to know sources) Thanks!
I love this AND your blog layout! So stylish
ReplyDelete# 3 because of the lace (I think it's lace) on top of the shoe. It goes well with the dress and matches V's shoes.
ReplyDelete3!
ReplyDeleteI'd go with option 1.
ReplyDeleteThe third pair is pretty, but I'd be nervous about wearing open toed shoes on a gravel path or going uphill. The second pair is cute but I don't think pairs as well with the dress. The first pair is classic so years from now you won't be thinking "oh god what was I thinking?". I love the dress!
All are great choices, but mine would be for option 3. The crochet trim looks great with your dress.
ReplyDeleteOhhh I really love #3. They go quite well will Violet's shoe as well.
ReplyDeleteI think option 1 would be perfect! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the open toed peeps - go with 3!
ReplyDeleteI vote 1 and then 3! Classic always wins in my book :)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I LOVE your blog!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...as far as the shoes question...probably #3, but #1 would be equally as fabulous (and you'd probably get more wear out of them).
I love the third but concern about the open toe, so I have to choose No.1
ReplyDeleteNot loving those. How about a cute wedge espadrille. Something like this:

So far I'm alone on this one, which surprises me, but #2 because it matches V's dress... Plus they look super comfy for walking on gravel! And something you could wear all the time afterwards. :)
ReplyDelete(P.S. Unrelated, but my word verfication word is "stinkery"! Hah!
three!! romantic and chic
ReplyDeletei would go for #3.
ReplyDeleteIf it were me, I'd definitely wear #1
ReplyDeleteOh I love giving my opinion haha! #3 for sure!! They are totally feminine but still look super comfy..plus you could could do like a soft pink or fun shade to have a little pop of color.
ReplyDeleteDelighted Momma
I really love #1.
ReplyDeleteI looove #3!
ReplyDeleteI agree, #3 is the best. Stylish and goes w/o being matchy matchy.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell us where your dress and V's shoes are from? I'd love to get a pair for my daughter! Thank you--love your blog!!!!
Thanks for all of the feedback! SShaw - loving those shoes, but I don't think I'd be able to climb this hill (it's pretty steep) or treck through a field in those while pushing/carrying a baby. Normally I'd totally go for a heel/wedge though. (Also looking for something under $50)
ReplyDeleteI would go with #3. Although having you in some green Hunter boots and V in bare feet would be darling, wouldn't it?!
ReplyDeleteBH - I thought about boots and am still considering them!
ReplyDeletesleepysammy - V's shoes are from Gap and my dress is from Delia's

I like #1 and #3. Love both dresses.
ReplyDeleteCan you share the source for the dress (didn't see it on pinterest)? It's gorgeous! Oh, and I'm for #3. :)
ReplyDelete#1 - so classic and cute for pictures
ReplyDelete1 or 3 choice 2 looks to casual.we are having family photos this weekend and I am having same delima.love your blog by the way
ReplyDeletedefinitely 3!
ReplyDeleteToss up between 1 and 3, but I'm leaning a little tiny bit more toward 1.
ReplyDeleteI would choose option 3 because of the lace coordinating well with your dress and Violet's shoes, plus they're just more dainty! Have fun taking pics!
ReplyDeleteI vote 1 and then 3! Classic always wins in my book :)
