Hi Lauren,
I was wondering if you could help me out with my daughter's nursery. So far we've picked out pink and green damask bedding for the room. Although the bedding is pink and green I do not want those colors to take over the room. I do not love anything too babyish or too cookie cutter! I have a love for owls and our crib is linen white. The room is small so whatever we can for space saving. I guess I need window curtains, light, rug, decor etc.
Thanks so much!
Christine
Christine's bedding was a great jumping off point for the rest of the space. Here's what I came up with:
Mobile - Diapers.com
Pillow - Etsy seller Turquoise Tumbleweed
Mobile - Etsy seller have & hold
Green Pillow - Crate & Barrel
Tree Decal - inke

Plush Owl - Etsy seller Contemori
So many nice things. I especially love the owl (the stuffed one) and the mobile. All perfect for a baby girls nursery without being too much.
ReplyDeleteI think that nursery's often get too cute myself, it's hard to find something that'll work withiout being too much. (I'm currently looking for things for my baby boys nursery - not easy.)

I think that it really helps to include non-baby decor items in nurseries to keep it from getting to cutesy. Boys' nurseries are so much more difficult - best of luck to you!
ReplyDeleteWow, you've really outdone yourself with this mood board! It's lovely. I especially love the colors you've added to the inspiration pink and green. It's so unexpected.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate! Christine specifically requested that pink and green not completely dominate the space, so I tried to find colors that would complement the original inspiration colors.
