I've seen blog after blog raving about the Missoni for Target sneak peek over on all the way up here, but I'm just not feeling it. I'd go as far as to say as it's just, well, ugly. Sure a lot of it's got a chevron pattern, but what doesn't these days?! The color palette doesn't appeal to me in any way either. Maybe it's just me, but I won't be knocking down the doors at Target. No, not even for the bike.
I'm not a fan. I saw the ad in House Beautiful this week and none of it appeals to me.

ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan either. I saw maybe 2 things I would consider, but nothing that screams BUY ME! Sometimes i think people get wrapped up in a label and buy things that really is not even their style. I'm guilty of it!

ReplyDeleteIt's just off. The chevron reminds me a little of the new bugaboo stroller blanket, but it's just not as cool.
ReplyDeleteHuh. Hmmmm. I like it and I don't. I think the wellies are adorable but, then again, I'm a sucker for a patterned rubber boot. The dinnerware? Bleh! I think I'd be nauseas looking at it, definitely not the look you want with dinner plates. The scarves aren't horrible, but would have to be used in moderation.
ReplyDeleteOver all, I'm just "meh" on it. I am a lover of colour and pattern, but this doesn't have me excited.
Not that I could afford it anyway, but Missoni has never particularly appealed to me either. I do love though that Target offers these collections from designers that would otherwise be out-of-reach.

I agree with you! It got to the point where so many other people were raving about it that I thought maybe I was missing something....but no. I don't like it. Which is just fine because Target does not need any more of my money! =) Except for diapers, of course.
ReplyDeleteYeah there were a couple of nicer items - those being two of them! Still nothing that would've stood out to me in a lineup though.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's too bad - it's such a great pattern but it is so common now that it's becoming a bit tired.
ReplyDeleteIs something messed up with the timeline also? I see bathing suits and outdoor tableware and we're quickly approaching Fall!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. It's all awful. The bike, however, is too hideous for words (and I'm a serious bike collector, so that's really saying something).
