Featured Nursery: Ruby & Sebastian's Shared Space

4.11.2011
I stumbled across this fantastic nursery on Pinterest the other day and just had to share it with all of you. The room is chock full of mama Rachel's thrift store finds, handmade decor, and amazing collections.

In this little corner alone, Rachel made the crib sheets, crocheted the afghan, and painted the pretty rainbow.

One of my favorite parts of the room is the chalkboard collection. It makes a great focal point, takes the place of art, and even better, serves as a perfect spot for the kids to get creative.

Because Rachel's rental is short on closet space, she re-purposed a wardrobe and bookshelf. Talk about a great Billy hack!

Sebastian's side of the room has a more boyish feel, but still flows easily with the overall look of the space. The DIY triangle mobile is so sweet and simple, and the bookshelf is the perfect spot for all of his favorite bedtime stories.

Thanks to Rachel for letting me share her son and daughter's special space! To see more of the nursery visit Rachel's blog, Smile and Wave, here.
