I'm trying to tone down too many different colors (although that is the first thing that catches my eye), but I'm not sure how to mix things in. I love how other people can use different color palettes and designs, but I guess I'm scared or do not have that touch. Here are a few pictures of our current living room:

We are currently trying to purchase a new home so we want to leave all the walls the current color. I want to make a slip cover for the accent chair in either a light linen or something with some funky design to it. Any ideas or pictures would be great to help me out. I need pillows, fabric to upholster the chair, curtains, and accessories. Thank you so much!

Here is what I came up with:

A few bold accents really liven up the room and break up the boring beige!

WOOHOO - I love it! You go girl!

Those are great curtains and love the rug. The only thing that would have to change is the coffee table, the husband does not like glass tables :( Also, during my lunch break I went to a fabric store and I am so confused and do not know what to choose to cover that chaise?

Here are a few more variations I came up with to help Charlotte make her decision:

Brown Chaise:

Orange Chaise:

Tan Chaise:

Wood Coffee & Console Tables:

Paint: Homeowner's Current Color
Fabric: Inside Fabric
Wall Art: Pier1 Imports
Drapes: JCPenney
Mirror: Homeowner's
Console & Ottomans: Pottery Barn
TV Stand - Homeowner's
Potted Plant - Home Depot
Rug - Overstock
Coffee Table - Pottery Barn
Sofa - Homeowner's
Leaf Pillow - Bobby Berk Home
Brown Pillow - Bed Bath & Beyond
White Pillow (not pictured) - Brocade Home
