Country Kitsch to Clean & Contemporary

Readers Brian and Sarah sent in a few photos of their clean and contemporary kitchen makeover that I just had to share:

The fabulous chandelier above the sink adds an unexpected touch of glamour.



The maple cabinets and coral curtains really warm up the whole space.




I love the clean, contemporary look created by the crisp black and tan stripes of the marmoleum floor and the subtle creamy stripes on the walls.



The quartz counters are gorgeous and the island functions not only as additional counter space, but also for storage and kitchen dining. (and is a great place for lounging kitties)
