Anniversary '09

So our third anniversary is coming up in three days (yes honey, you've been stuck with me for three years), and amidst our never ending bathroom renovation, we thought maybe we should think about what to do.

We decided that after I teach my art camp for first second and third graders in the morning, we will go to a local lake for a little canoeing, picnicking, and hiking. We did this last year as well and it was a fun way to spend the afternoon:






If I had some extra dough to spend, I would certainly buy a fun new outfit for the occasion, but since I don't (thanks to home reno and an extravagant vacation), here is what I would buy:

Later in the evening we are going to go out for...gulp...sushi! I've never had sushi before - the idea of raw fish never really appealed to me. The hubster, however, loves sushi and has been wanting me to try it FOREVER. So in the spirit of adventure, I'm going to give it a go. The place is fairly casual, but I'd like to dress up a little, so I'll probably wear something like this:
