For some reason I'm not happy with my dining room. I've re-done it twice since we moved in in January, but I'm never satisfied with the result.

What would you do to help this room? I'd love suggestions for art, accessories, inspiration pics, etc. I'm open to doing anything in here except painting the tabletop. Thanks!

This room just needs a little more color and a few accessories to achieve that finished look!

Here's what I came up with:

  • An an area rug beneath the table breaks up all of the wood tones and adds a subtle splash of color
  • The upper walls will stay neutral with Behr's Chocolate Froth, while the wainscoting will be painted a crisp white.
  • Mirrors will flank the door, while the botanical prints will be grouped above the buffet.
  • A smaller chandelier will be more in scale with the room and table
  • Elegant drapes will be hung at the windows to add a bit of softness to the room

Neutrals, subtle colors, patterns, and accessories combine to finish this fabulous dining room!
