Not only do I find clothes lines to be fun and whimsical, they are also very functional. They allow you to hang a ton of photos, artwork, and inspiration on your wall without making nail holes or ruining your walls with tape, pins, tacks etc. You can also change them out at a moments notice! The art teacher in me also says it's a fabulous way for all of you parents out there to display your child's artwork - a great alternative to the classic fridge and magnet approach.

Who knew that some string and clothespins could be so chic and useful inside of the house? I may even create one of these in my art room to display student work...
We're using clothes line and clothespins on our wedding day to hang our escort cards and photos of us through the years. They're going to be strung between two trees. Fun!
ReplyDeleteI love that first picture. I always thought this was a great idea too. I'm doing one for the baby shower with little baby clothes - decor + gift in one. I love it for the office though. I always have so many pretty cards, etc. that sit in a basket. I'd love to be able to look at them every day. Thanks for the inspiration!
